Life on the Outskirts brings together work by art and design students and graduates from the University of Leeds and Manchester Metropolitan University. Their contemporary responses, inspired by the Helen Storey Foundation Archive, are displayed alongside images from the archive, a film by David Betteridge exploring the archive from its creators’ perspectives, and Helen Storey’s ‘Dress for Our Time’ (2015).
