Life on the Outskirts exhibition, University of Leeds
A glimpse of the Life on the Outskirts exhibition in situ at the School of Fine Art, University of Leeds.
The exhibition, brings together work by art and design students and graduates from the University of Leeds and Manchester Metropolitan University, and showcases participants’ final contemporary responses inspired by the Helen Storey Foundation Archive. Works are displayed alongside images from the archive, a film by David Betteridge exploring the archive from its creators’ perspectives, and Helen Storey’s ‘Dress for Our Time’ (2015).
This show tours to Manchester Metropolitan University in October, concluding the AHRC funded project.
The exhibition is open until Friday 20th July and a celebratory event will take place on Thursday 19th July, 4.30pm – 6pm. The event, and the exhibition, is free and open to all. Please do join us.
